7. Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis)

Why He Could Live: Given that Supreme Leader Snoke has yet to be seen in any of the promotional materials for The Force Awakens, this combined with his highfalutin title suggests that he's going to be the Thanos-esque villain of the new trilogy, teased during the first two movies before having a large presence in Episode IX. Why He Could Die: It's entirely possible that Snoke won't be a major villain moving forward and could simply be hidden from marketing to maintain the surprise of his appearance later on in the movie. With Benicio del Toro in talks for Episode VIII, perhaps he'll take over as the chief villain after Snoke is killed. Prediction: He'll probably live to see Episode IX, as the whole Palpatine parallel just makes too much sense (and of course, both Marvel and Star Wars are now owned by Disney).
