Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Ranking The Original Characters Worst To Best

5. The Millennium Falcon

Now, Han Solo's old bucket of bolts may not be a character in the traditional sense, but whose theater didn't burst into applause when the off-screen "garbage" ship was revealed to be the Millennium Falcon? The resilient ship is just as iconic to the series as many of the actual living characters who've been inside of it over the years, and The Force Awakens did a fantastic job treating it with the same love fans have for it. Seeing Han and Chewie back in the cockpit provided an amazing dose of nostalgia, but the fact that its first big sequence - in which the two don't even take part - is so exciting demonstrates how much the ship itself has taken on its own identity. In many ways, Rey's new ownership of the Falcon is representative of the baton passed on to her by Han, with many adventures yet to come now that the ship's in capable hands again. Rey's brief experiences with it so far more than prove she's got what it takes.
