The Last Jedi is the longest of all the Star Wars movies, clocking in at a beefy 152 minutes, so it's impressive that despite running just 11 minutes shorter than Blade Runner 2049, the movie races by at an incredible clip.

Again, you can argue that the Canto Bight sequence could've been trimmed down, but the thrilling action, operatic drama and steady stream of surprising reveals ensures that there's never a time where the film feels like it drags or needed to lose entire scenes.

When a movie runs over two-and-a-half hours, it sure as hell needs to bring something special to the table, and that The Last Jedi certainly did. It earned its epic length, even if it's understandable that some might've appreciated some light snipping here and there.
