10. Is Kylo Ren The New Supreme Leader?

The Question: Kylo Ren slices Snoke in half with a lightsaber and then, with the help of Rey, also dispatches the Supreme Leader's Praetorian guards.

After Hux comes across the scene, Kylo Force-chokes him into submission, appearing to become the de facto Supreme Leader, though it remains to be seen whether he'll actually take on that ceremonial title for the next movie.

Furthermore, could there be someone else who might also end up vying for the Supreme Leader chair?

The Likely Answer: Considering that Kylo talks to Rey about smashing the established order and starting anew, it would make a lot of sense for him to abandon the Supreme Leader title and probably just go by the name Kylo Ren, or come up with some new title.

Supreme Leader Ren doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, though, so while he will effectively take the Supreme Leader role in practical terms, don't expect him to bear the name too.

As for someone else jockeying for the role, it doesn't seem probable. Seemingly the whole point of Snoke dying was to establish Kylo Ren as the true villain of the trilogy, and throwing yet another rival baddie into the mix would just feel like contrived overkill.

Free of his inhibitions and doubts, a full beast mode Kylo Ren in Episode IX has the potential to decisively overtake Darth Vader as the best villain of the franchise, if he hasn't already.
