18. Floaty Leia

When Carrie Fisher died, the question of how Rian Johnson would wrap up Leia Organa's story on-screen became one of the biggest loose ends for The Last Jedi. We were told in advance that we wouldn't see her killed off this time out, but even then, the sequence showing her almost killed during Kylo Ren's attack on her ship was still particularly stunning.

it looked for a moment there like we'd been fed a lie successfully and that we would see her killed. Seeing her floating through space even felt like a loving tribute, but then it was snatched away and instead we got to see Leia flexing her barely-used Force powers and literally floating through space, defying all known rules f physics in the process. But that's space magic for you.

And that's saying nothing of the fact that her welcoming party open an airlock to let her in and yet are not sucked out into space as they definitely should have been.
