Star Wars: The Last Jedi - 31 Easter Eggs & References You Need To See
24. C-3PO Got His Arm Back
When C-3PO showed up in The Force Awakens, a lot of fans were dismayed by the fact that he was given a red replacement arm for no discernible reason other than to make him look a little different from the last time we saw him.
It was revealed in a one-shot comic last year that Threepio gained the arm from a fallen droid that sacrificed itself to save him, but by the time The Last Jedi rolls around, he's found a replacement, and to relief of many fans, looks like every bit the classic C-3PO fans know and love.
23. "Laser Sword"
After Rey tries to convince Luke to leave Ahch-To and help the Resistance, Luke sarcastically retorts that she seemingly expects him to "take on the entire Last Order with a laser sword".
On the face of it, it might seem a little jarring to hear Luke refer to the lightsaber in such basic terms, but aside from demonstrating how disillusioned he is with the Force, it serves as a nod to George Lucas' original name for the iconic weapon.
In the original script for A New Hope, Lucas refers to lightsabers as laser swords, and even in more recent interviews, he's continued to use that nomenclature.
