3. The Jedi Order Will Turn Into Something Else

The Last Jedi might not be as literal as we are assuming. Luke might be a Jedi, and there is every possibility that Rey is trained to become one as well, but it might also suggest the end of the old guard, and the beginning of a new order entirely.

After all, The Rebellion and The Empire have turned into The Resistance and The First Order respectively. So much in the universe has changed in the last 30 years since the fall of the Empire that it would make sense for the resurgence of those formerly known as The Jedi and The Sith to be called something else.

Those who possess the Force - and we may find Rey, Luke and Leia are not alone - could come together and become new orders representing the light and dark sides of it. The Last Jedi might symbolise the rise of the next generation of people sworn to uphold whatever ideology they believe. The Jedi Order would come to an end, as would the order of the Sith...
