Star Wars: The Last Jedi - 8 Crazy Fan Theories You Need To See

4. Snoke Is Mace Windu

At this point, there are probably hundreds of theories floating around that tie Supreme Leader Snoke with every single Star Wars character who's either dead, or has severe facial injuries - and one of the more recent additions to this esteemed cast of characters is Samuel L. Jackson's bald badass Mace Windu.

YouTube user Vincent Vendetta gives a thorough explanation of this one, citing the fact that Sam Jackson thinks Windu is still alive, along with the character's likely facial disfigurements (after receiving a full blast of Force Lightning), as evidence.

But can you imagine the executives over at LucasFilm and Disney sitting down and deciding to invent a character called Snoke... who's actually Mace Windu, a Jedi 99 percent of the population believe is dead? It just sounds weird.

And another thing - one of the clips Vincent uses in his video has Sam Jackson mentioning that George Lucas is "okay" with Windu being alive. The first problem here is that being "okay" with it isn't a confirmation that Windu survived his fall, but the second, bigger problem is that George Lucas is not creatively involved with these modern Star Wars movies in the slightest.

And sure, Windu could have facial injuries, but so did Vader, and so could this Stormtrooper. Star Wars is trying to move forward, not back, and resurrecting Windu would be a groan-inducing step in the wrong direction.
