8. Poe Dameron

He might not be the new Han Solo, but Poe Dameron qualifies as the most powerful non-Force touched human in the Galaxy at the minute because of his similarities to Solo.

He's one of the best pilots in the galaxy - capable of piloting almost anything in fact - and skilled in hand-to-hand combat as well, but all of that pales into insignificance in comparison with his heart. He's a swash-buckling hero of the oldest kind, committed as only a hero borne of two heroes could be, and his backstory basically marks him out as your typical Chosen One sort of action hero, it just so happens that he's in the wrong sort of Galaxy for that.

Poe has basically taken over Han Solo's position, even if he's not his spiritual heir in the film-makers' opinions, and that too marks him out as a powerful figure.
