16. Rose Tico

Thanks to the tightness of LucasFilm's vault around The last Jedi, we only know fragments of information about the newest additions to the cast. The least is probably known of Rose Tico, the Resistance maintenance worker played by Kelly Marie Tran, who seems to sit alongside Finn in the little guy biting bite sort of position.

Rose has a sister who is a pilot in the Resistance, so we can assume that she's going to follow the usual unexpected hero arc (and the hints that she goes undercover with Finn suggest she's courageous), but it definitely feels like her arc is easily mapped out. She will start out unassuming and will be thrust into the action (just as Finn was), where she'll grow into something rivalling her "more famous" sister.

So, in other words, she'll be big on heart and strong-willed (eventually), but it'll take some time to realise it.
