Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Power-Ranking Every Character
11. General Hux
He might seem like your typical sniveling, entitled officer type who would run out on the idea of front-line battle at the very suggestion of getting his hands dirty, but General Hux is still a formidable force in the Galaxy Far, Far Away.
He is responsible for the brutally cruel training methods the First Order soldiers are forced to go through and was noted to be a particularly vicious child himself. He's the typical psychopathic villain, steadfast in his belief that he should rule the galaxy himself and vehemently committed to doing whatever it takes to achieve that.
He rose up the ranks of the First Order through "technological terror" and is a young General, so he's certainly not one to be dismissed as Snoke's puppet, even if we haven't seen any of him in actual combat. When he can wield the terrifying weaponry of the First Order, he simply hasn't needed to do that so far.
