Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker - Every Easter Egg & Reference You Must See
27. All The Cameos
True to Star Wars form, The Rise of Skywalker is absolutely filled to the brim with cameos from famous names and faces.
Where to begin? Legendary Star Wars composer John Williams is visible as a composer on the bustling planet of Kijimi, while singer-actor-playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda - who also contributed to the movie's soundtrack - appears as a member of the Resistance.
Elsewhere, recent BAFTA and Emmy winner Jodie Comer appears for mere seconds as Rey's (Daisy Ridley) mother in flashbacks, and though we couldn't see them ourselves, comedian Jeff Garlin and filmmaker Kevin Smith both reportedly have cameos somewhere in the movie.
Co-writer-director J.J. Abrams meanwhile provides the voice for cute droid D-O, and a number of his friends from prior productions also have small roles.
For starters, Greg Grunberg reprises the role of Snap Wexley (and sadly meets his demise in the final battle), while Felicity's Keri Russell plays Poe's old pal Zorri Bliss, and Lost star Dominic Monaghan portrays Resistance soldier Beaumont Kin.
There are also a number of voice cameos throughout the film, but more on that later...
