Critic Consensus: "With Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, George Lucas brings his second Star Wars trilogy to a suitably thrilling and often poignant -- if still a bit uneven -- conclusion."

Revenge of the Sith is certainly the best chapter in the prequel trilogy, with the film featuring many iconic scenes, Anakin Skywalker's turn to the Dark Side and the infamous Order 66 among them. Revenge of the Sith is the fall of the Jedi as Darth Sidious takes control of the Senate and Anakin Skywalker becomes Darth Vader, bringing forth the rise of the Empire and the fall of the Republic.

This film does an amazing job at showcasing Anakin's turn to the Dark Side with Hayden Christensen's performance in particular underrated. Featuring an amazing performance from Ewan McGregor and introducing the character of General Grievous, Revenge of the Sith features many iconic moments and brilliant moments, making it the standout film of the prequel trilogy.

Revenge of the Sith is well-known for two important and incredible scenes in the Star Wars mythos. These scenes are the Duel of Mustafar (arguably the best lightsaber duel in Star Wars history) and Order 66. Both scenes beautifully portrayed the tragedy and downfall of the Jedi while also setting up the events of the Original Trilogy and Star Wars Rebels, giving the film a soft spot amongst fans and critics alike.
