Star Wars: The WORST Scene In Every Skywalker Saga Film

5. Attack Of The Clones: Anakin And Padme's Haunted Kiss

While Attack of the Clones is a marked improvement over its predecessor, there’s no denying that it’s still missing something. Believable dialogue, for one thing. An argument could be made for any of Anakin and Padme's flirting scenes going here, but Anakin painfully confessing to Padme that he is in love with her in front of a fireplace takes the dubious honour this time.

The scene shows wooden performances from both Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman, with the former especially seeming like he's constipated rather than anguishing over his feelings for Padme. Ridiculously cheesy dialogue like, "I'm haunted by the kiss that you should never have given me." doesn't help and may make you wonder whether George Lucas has ever actually spoken to another human being before.

To make things even worse, this scene is both preceded and followed by Obi-Wan Kenobi investigating the mysterious clone factory on Kamino and fighting for his life against ruthless bounty hunter Jango Fett. It makes Anakin whining about his crush look totally pointless by comparison.

Owen Davies hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
