Star Wars: The WORST Scene In Every Skywalker Saga Film

Revenge of the Sith is perhaps the only movie from the prequel trilogy that could feasibly be called good. The hammy dialogue and odd pacing is still there, but the special effects hold up a lot better and there are more genuinely memorable scenes. Plus, the synchronised final battles between Obi-Wan & Anakin and Emperor Palpatine & Yoda are some of the best in the entire franchise.

But it’s still pretty easy to pick the worst scene because it’s one that has been ridiculed by Star Wars devotees and casual viewers alike.

Right before his final battle with Obi-Wan, Anakin chokes Padme with the Force and she collapses to the ground. Later on, while she is hooked up to highly advanced medical equipment and tended to by specially manufactured doctor droids, one of them declares that she has simply ‘lost the will to live’. Although, she apparently keeps that will long enough to give birth to twins and name both of them.

Not much can be said about this ludicrous moment that hasn’t already been said. Just thinking about for it too long might make you lose the will to live too.
