Star Wars VII: 10 Expanded Universe Characters Who Deserve To Appear

4. Corran Horn

Corran Horn A man of many talents, Corran Horn started out as a Corellian Security officer, facing off with some of the Galaxy's most dangerous criminals. After defecting to the Rebellion, Horn became an essential member of Rogue Squadron, becoming one of the Alliance's best pilots. Years later, Horn realized that he had latent Jedi abilities and left Rogue Squadron to study at Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy where he became one of its top students. Horn proved essential in the Yuuzhan Vong war, helping to discover the lost planet of Zonoma Sekot, effectively ending the war. After the war, Horn became a Jedi Master, marking the third different job he has performed brilliantly. Horn could just as easily be a supporting character in a movie or as the main character in a standalone work. The Rogue Squadron series of books take place from Horn's perspective, as does the standalone novel I, Jedi which calls on Horn to use the full range of his talents in order to rescue his wife. I love movies, literature, history, music and the NBA. I love all things nerdy including but not limited to Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, and Firefly. My artistic idols are Dylan, Dostoevsky, and Malick and my goal in life is to become like Bernard Black from Black Books. When I die, I hope to turn into the space baby from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
