Star Wars VII: 10 Expanded Universe Characters Who Deserve To Appear

5. Gilad Pelleon

Gilad Pelleon A reminder that not every Imperial was a monster and that many were just doing their job, Pelleon has had one of the longest military careers of any character in the Expanded Universe. His first military endeavor came during the Clone Wars and he continued to be a major member of the Imperial military throughout the Galactic Civil War as well as through the Yuuzhan Vong wars and beyond. Pelleon played a key role in the Thrawn trilogy where he served as second in command to the Grand Admiral aboard his flagship Star Destroyer the Chimera. Years later, Pelleon took command over a reunited, though critically weakened, Imperial military but was unable to gain any momentum against the New Republic. Pelleon was primarily responsible for signing a peace treaty between Imperial and New Republic forces and he played an essential role in the Yuuzhan Vong conflict and later became the military leader of the Galactic Alliance. Who Should Play them: Jeremy Irons or Bryan Cranston

I love movies, literature, history, music and the NBA. I love all things nerdy including but not limited to Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, and Firefly. My artistic idols are Dylan, Dostoevsky, and Malick and my goal in life is to become like Bernard Black from Black Books. When I die, I hope to turn into the space baby from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
