Star Wars VII: 10 Expanded Universe Characters Who Deserve To Appear

3. Kyle Katarn

Kyle Katarn Quite possibly the most dangerous man in the galaxy, Katarn possesses a multitude of skills honed over years of experience. A former Imperial stormtrooper who defected to the Rebellion, Katarn became a one man demolition crew for the alliance, pulling off invaluable missions such as destroying the Imperials Dark Trooper project. Later, Katarn trained himself to be a Jedi ( I imagine that's fairly difficult), holding his own with some of Emperor Palpatine's trained Dark Jedi. Later, Katarn enrolled in Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy, becoming one of the New Jedi Order's most respected Jedi Masters and proving invaluable in a number of conflicts. Katarn could easily be main character in his own spinoff movie or be major supporting character in the sequel trilogy, although he likely won't appear in either. Who Should Play them: Ryan Gosling

I love movies, literature, history, music and the NBA. I love all things nerdy including but not limited to Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, and Firefly. My artistic idols are Dylan, Dostoevsky, and Malick and my goal in life is to become like Bernard Black from Black Books. When I die, I hope to turn into the space baby from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
