10. Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones (2002)

Expectations were noticeably lower for Attack Of The Clones, particularly with a title that made Ewan McGregor laugh out loud, and as predicted the second prequel proved to be more of the same, albeit it with noticeably more CGI (this was the first shot entirely on digital film).

There's a lot that improves on The Phantom Menace - the plot is more focused and the pieces are beginning to actually fall into place - although a lot of that is undercut by Hayden Christensen dreamily talking about sand.

Empire Magazine famously gave the film a glowing five star review, which still gets cited against them to this day.
