Star Wars: What Happened To EVERY Jedi That Survived Order 66
8. Eeth Koth
Eeth Koth was a Jedi Master and a member of the Jedi Council during the Clone Wars. However, when Order 66 was executed he had been replaced by Jedi Master Agen Kolar and had left the Jedi Order entirely.
With no affiliation to the Order he was able to hide from the Empire very well. In his exile, he became a priest in the Church of the Ganthic Enlightenment, a religious organisation in place to bring peace to people during Imperial rule. He also had a child and married a woman called Mira. However, his new-found happiness was short lived.
Hunted across the galaxy, Darth Vader and the Inquisitors found Koth soon after his child's birth. Koth tried to bargain with the Sith Lord, even offering to help find the Jedi who had survived the Purge, but it was to no avail. In the ensuing duel, Koth used the anger he felt for the Empire to hold off Vader as his family escaped. He fought well, but was ultimately killed when he witnessed his daughter kidnapped by the Inquisitors.
Vader killed his former friend in cold blood, and took his daughter back to the Emperor to be used in Project Harvester, an operation run by the Inquisitors to turn Force-sensitive children into Imperial agents.
On a slightly more positive note to this tragic story, Mira was able to escape the planet with her father, leaving the body of her husband below.
