Star Wars: Why Game Of Thrones' Creators Should Make Knights Of The Old Republic
2. They Can Handle Its Epic Scope
This would be a big story. It's not just one easily streamlined tale that can last two hours, but instead would easily fill the six hours of a trilogy if not even more. There are a lot of characters to juggle, some huge set-pieces, multiple storylines running parallel to each other, galactic politics, romances, issues around race and gender, and much, much more.
Luckily, all that is stuff Benioff and Weiss clearly have a handle of thanks to their experience on Game of Thrones. They've proven they can juggle and develop a wide cast of characters and balance that with pushing the narrative forward in exciting ways, delivering some immense spectacle alongside the quieter moments. They've shown a commitment to practical effects and sets too, balanced with VFX, that fits well with Star Wars. With the right director onboard too, this is the kind of story they're extremely adept at tackling, and the best one for their talents.
