Steve Carell: 5 Awesome Performances And 5 That Sucked

2. Mark - Stories USA

stevecarelldodgeball I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Stories U.S.A, which consists of several short films, has to be one of the worst films ever made. It's bland, badly executed and fiercely unentertaining, and Steve Carell's segment, Street of Pain, is particularly terrible. The segment can be found on YouTube, and I'd highly recommend checking it out, just to cringe and take some perverse pleasure from the awfulness of it. Basically, he plays a guy in a trenchcoat who throws dodgeballs at other guys. On a street. In silence. And, you would think that a simple plot like this would at least be somewhat realistic, but this was shot as if it were made for a children's show. Sounds a treat doesn't it? I'm not sure what Steve was thinking when signing on for this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcGiPah6Gz0
