Steven Spielberg: EVERY Movie Ranked Worst To Best

22. Munich (2005)

An epic tale of morality and an assessment on terrorism and its effects, Munich manages to be at once one of Spielberg's most daring and boring films.

On the one hand, there's the way the film asks tough questions about the world and the violence that takes place in it, and on the other there's a slow, clunky narrative that works only to trip up the movie's stronger elements.

Spielberg and screenwriters Eric Roth and Tony Kushner deserve credit for their thoughtful approach to a difficult subject, but in the end the film isn't quite as effective as it could have been.
