Steven Spielberg: EVERY Movie Ranked Worst To Best

24. The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997)

ET The Extra Terrestrial
Universal

Though nowhere near as accomplished as its predecessor, The Lost World still makes for a fun family adventure, complete with typically great effects and a great starring turn from Jeff Goldblum.

The main issue with the film lies in how little it has to say. Whereas Jurassic Park expertly tackles themes of discovery and morality, The Lost World instead opts for a "hunting is bad" message throughout, and watches like a quick money grab.

That said, it's still entertaining in its own right, and the sequence where the group are trapped dangling off a cliff as they're attacked by a T-Rex is pure Jurassic Park bliss.
