Stopping Power is recharged

Jan De Bont's latest thriller finds new investor and will begin filming soon.

Jan De Bont's thriller Stopping Power which will star the awesomely talented but career suicidal actor John Cusack is back on and ready to begin filming. The movie was put on hold a few weeks back when funding on the $40 million project was pulled at the last minute but the film has now found a new investor. The movie is set in motion with the accidential kidnapping of Cusack's young daughter by wanted criminal Jason Isaacs (he stole an RV, not knowing the girl was inside). Aussie actress Melissa George plays Cusack's girlfriend. There's tons of mumbo-jumbo about the new financial deal which you can read here, but I didn't find it all that interesting enough to write about. All we need to know is that the movie is back on track and it will suck. Cusack should really get himself a new agent.
