While audiences eagerly await finding out exactly which "version" of Joker Jared Leto is going to play, there has actually only been one Joker - it's just that he is so unpredictable and so varied in terms of how writers portray him that he really could be depicted in countless ways on film. However, in the cases of the likes of Rick Flag and Captain Boomerang, the question of which "version" of each character will appear is actually a more accurate one. Rick Flag is actually the name of three characters in the DC comic books and they are father, son and grandson. All three of them have been associated with different versions of the Suicide Squad and, while it is likely that Tom Hardy will play the son - Rick Flag, Jr. - it remains to be seen if that will be the case.
