Suicide Squad: 10 Major New Plot Hints From The Blitz Trailer

Slipknot - who is played by actor Adam Beach - is the one member of the Suicide Squad who hasn't really found himself featured in the teasers, trailers or marketing material to the same extent as the other characters. This has given fans reason to believe that he won't have anywhere near as much screen time as the rest of the gang, and the Blitz trailer appears to confirm that - and more.

Going by what the trailer tells us, after all, it looks as though Slipknot is going to end up dead before the mission even gets properly going - a sort of expendable character whose purpose in the film is to show the squad members that Amanda Waller means business.

There are a couple of telling shots in the trailer which show two members of the squad being injected with something in their necks. For anyone who has wondered why, upon being released into the world, the villains don't just make a break for it, that injection is the reason. If the film is anything like the comics, then the "thing" that goes inside them is an explosive, one that can be triggered should anybody try to jump ship during the mission.

Given the shots of Slipknot literally cutting loose and turning on his squad here, coupled with the relative lack of footage of Adam Beach, and you've got yourself a lot of evidence suggesting he'll drop dead before the end of the first act.
