5. The Joker Meets With Whoever Common Is Playing
We're not any closer to officially finding out who, exactly, Common is supposed to be playing in this movie - a character since branded as "Monster T," though one that many people actually suspect to be a DC villain known as "The Tattooed Man." On this front, I think we're going to be left speculating until the movie comes out in theatres, 'cause Warner Bros. don't seem to want to budge.
Still, if you were super perceptive in your viewing of the Blitz trailer, you might have noticed that - in one brief shot - the Joker can be seen sitting opposite - and apparently negotiating with - whoever Common is playing. Look closely at the mirror behind Jared Leto, and you can see Common's reflection.
What this tells us in theory is that if Common's character is the guy responsible for unleashing all those weird monsters glimpsed across these Suicide Squad trailers, then he could be in cahoots with the Joker; either that, or he was hired by the Joker to unleash hell upon Gotham. Whatever: it all goes hand-in-hand with Common's claims that there are business dealings between these two.
Do they have a higher purpose, or is the Joker's aim here just to create chaos? We'll have to wait and see.
