Suicide Squad: 10 Major Reveals From The New Images

While Empire mentions that Enchantress catches the attention of Amanda Waller (A.R.G.U.S. leader and the brains behind Task Force X), it's not clear whether they're assembled to take her or an even greater threat on. Ayer describes the movie simply as, "The Dirty Dozen, but with comic supervillains", and will only say that, "They're after a high value target that they have to go in and rescue. When they make the attempt, they realise that's not the end." Thinking back to past rumours, the filmmaker could be referring to the fact that Waller sends Task Force X to steal Julie Moon from LexCorp (Jesse Eisenberg is expected to show up as Lex Luthor, and both he and Waller have a shared interest in metahumans). What the greater threat could be once they've done that is difficult to say though. One thing we do now know is that they won't end up squaring off with a hero like Batman. The Caped Crusader is indeed set to make a cameo appearance, but Ayer admits to having very little interest in telling a traditional hero vs. villain story here. "Fuck good versus bad. Bad versus evil is a lot more interesting. And Amanda Waller is the worst there is." Who is that evil? And what does he mean Amanda Waller is the worst one out of all these bad guys? Well, here's where thing may take an interesting twist...
