Months and months have gone by since it was announced that Scott Eastwood is involved in Suicide Squad, and while more recent news drops have confirmed that he's not named anything hinting at a secret comic book character, his profile seemed to suggest otherwise.

Rumours immediately spread that he was going to be Nightwing, or Deathstroke or someone so interesting that his identity had to be locked down for the sake of fan enjoyment at the reveal. Sadly, the closer it gets to release, the more it looks like Eastwood has simply taken a paycheck to play a nobody in an ensemble.

And after all of that speculation and months of excitement, the lack of any sort of reveal at all will be devastatingly disappointing.
