Suicide Squad 2: 10 Insanely Dark Moments That Won't Be Used

1. Yo-Yo's Return

What’s the only thing worse than being eaten alive? Surviving being eaten alive.

While you’d be forgiven for thinking that those lines belong to a questionably funny joke, it’s actually a short rundown of the unfortunate fate of Yo-Yo – who gets one of the worst fates in the Suicide Squad's entire history.

Yo-Yo is eaten by King Shark, and disappears from the comic for long enough that most readers would likely forget about him. However, due to his elastic body powers, we find out later – much, much later – that Yo-Yo survived being eaten, and has been stuck rotting in the stomach acid of the shark-man the entire time. Needless to say, the whole scene is more than a little disturbing.

Unless the producers are keen on having some casual gore in their teen-friendly series, this is one moment that's sure to stay out.

I like my comics like I like my coffee - in huge, unquestionably unhealthy doses.
