Suicide Squad 2: 10 Things It Must Do Better Than The Original

7. A Stronger Antagonist

There was nothing especially memorable about Cara Delevingne's Enchantress in Suicide Squad. In fact, it was disappointing when she was revealed to be the main antagonist once all of the cards were on the table.

The sequel must think bigger when it comes to the threat the team will be up against and consider calling on a DC Comics A-lister.

Having the squad face off against an all-powerful villain like Ra’s al Ghul or Lex Luthor would be both interesting and headline-grabbing, providing they can come up with a compelling reason to have their paths cross.

The Joker is also a strong candidate to fill this role, as that would give him something much better to do than abuse Harley Quinn in flashback sequences, but Suicide Squad 2 could also explore the team-versus-team option.

There are a number of other villain collectives in the DC universe that could serve as the opposition in the sequel, from the Injustice League to the Secret Six (which Deadshot had a stint in), and their inclusion would surely make for a villain-packed movie with more scope than the original.
