Suicide Squad 2: 12 Perfect Villains (And Who Should Play Them)

4. Jackie Earle Haley As Thinker

Thinker Jackie Earle Haley
DC & AMC

Super-genius The Thinker is another curious possible antagonist for the team, as rumours raged prior to the first movie's release that he was in contention to appear as one of its big villains, and furthermore was to be played by none other than the terrific Jackie Earle Haley.

It didn't happen, but that doesn't mean it won't in the next movie, especially as Haley could bring a real gravitas to the character, who has been both the Squad's enemy and reluctant ally numerous times over.

The core of Thinker's quest is to find a new body to sustain the physical damage brought on by his hyper-intelligence, and while it might seem a bit goofy on the face of things, remember that the last movie had Enchantress hula-shaking her hips during the final battle. Not so bad, right?
