6. Deadshot Dies

One of the most shocking casting additions to Suicide Squad was Will Smith as Deadshot. The majority of comic book fans had given up hope when it came to the actor starring in a superhero movie, and while there was some inevitable "controversy" about Floyd Lawton's race change (he's Caucasian in the source material), there's no denying that Smith is one of this movie's biggest draws. Along with Harley Quinn and The Joker, Deadshot also appears to be one of the leads who will receive the majority of screentime in Suicide Squad. The point is, all of this adds up to the character's sudden death in the movie rocking the audience to their very core and is something no one will see coming. Killer Croc? Slipknot? Diablo? They may as well already have their tombstones written out! Fans are going to go into this movie expecting the lesser known actors and characters to be cannon fodder in a team which suffers a lot of casualties, but a big name like Smith/Deadshot? That's much less predictable, and would have a lasting impact. How should he be taken out? Well, with Smith teasing romance between Deadshot and Harley, The Joker may have something to say about that!
