Suicide Squad: 8 Possible Spoiler Explanations For Batman's Role

1. To Take Down Task Force X

No doubt a pretty wild guess, Batman actually being brought in to take down the Suicide Squad is another popular theory doing the rounds. Whether it's a decision he makes by himself or one which happens when the team manages to escape their captors (each member is outfitted with an explosive which will go off and kill them if they disobey orders) and Waller requests his help, Batman being the movie's main antagonist would be great fun. If this is the case, Ben Affleck will obviously need to have a major role in Suicide Squad, and there has unfortunately been nothing to indicate that that is the case up until this point. However, Batman taking on - well, down - Task Force X wouldn't need to be the basis of the entire movie though, and could just be a fairly lengthy fight scene in the film's final act. Warner Bros. probably aren't going to rename Suicide Squad "Batman v Suicide Squad" any time soon, though it would be incredible to see the Caped Crusader interact with them and then come to blows with the team. This makes just as much sense as Task Force X being dispatched to take him down anyway, so it's definitely a solid enough theory for now...
