Suicide Squad: 8 Things Everybody Missed In The Trailer
8. Boomerang And Deadshot Are Block-Mates
There's moments of clear camaraderie between Task Force X in the trailer - Boomerang and Slipknot give each other a nice tactical nod at one point and later on we see two soldiers (one played by Scott Eastwood) being pretty badass as they nonchalantly fist-bump - but, beyond being forced to fight together, we're not given all that much about the relationship between the various characters. However, there is one background clue that actually links two of the squad's key figures, suggesting there'll be some pre-existing relationship between the two; we see at the start Boomerang is kept in cell D-108 and later that Deadshot is held in D-102, meaning the two are block buddies. Whether they're pals or not (unlikely given how neither seems to be that open to other people) will have to wait for the movie (or, knowing DC, another trailer). If they have met, they could possibly have had previous interaction with another inmate too - El Diablo. While Harley Quinn is kept on her own and Killer Croc's cell appears to be in the sewers, the First Look teaser from Comic-Con showed the fire-manipulator in a cell, clearly at some point before he was put in the water containment box.
