Suicide Squad: 8 Things Everybody Missed In The Trailer
7. A Certain Prison Guard Has A Beef With Multiple Characters
Outside of Joel Kinnaman's Rick Flag (and Amanda Waller's part in overseeing the whole thing), we know very little about any of the military or prison side of the mission. There's Scott Eastwood as some unnamed soldier and Jim Parrack's character has a nametag calling him "Mr Frost", suggesting he's Joker henchman Johnny Frost (so a mischief-making double-agent then), but they don't have much in the way of defined personalities. There is, however, one character who we do get to see a couple of times in the trailer menacing our "heroes", suggesting a minor antagonist role; the prison officer who beats Deadshot after he's forcibly removed from his cell in the same who douses El Diablo before flushing him out of his containment chamber. Perhaps he's just a small recurring character with a slight sadistic bent, but if the movie chooses spends a bit of time building up the characters in prison before diving into the main story we may get to know "Alpha01" quite well (and perhaps even have a scene where the heroes get some much deserved payback).
