Suicide Squad: 8 Ways Enchantress Is Way Worse Than Leto's Joker

6. Even More Confusing Body Art

So, when she's fully evilled up Enchantress has markings on shoulders, suggesting she's gone full Arnie in Predator and daubed herself in mystical mud to appear more evil or something. Looking at the entire Suicide Squad - and The Joker - it seems like David Ayer and his art team have decided that tattoos and body art are the IN thing for DCEU bad guys. That's all well and good, but what has happened is that costumes and more recognisable comic book designs (like colourful, iconic costumes and more other-worldly appearances) have been all but wiped out in favour of just writing on people to show who they're supposed to be. Are we supposed to just accept that the markings are going to be presented as some sort of magical protection? And does that then mean that the only way to defeat her is to get her to have a bath?
