Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), the leader of the Squad, looks to be in trouble. Judging from the trailers, it definitely appears that he has far too close a relationship with Enchantress' civilian alter-ego, June Moone. Being that it also looks like she'll end up being the villain of the piece - she's never pictured in badass mode with the rest of the Squad, gatecrashes the White House, and a lot of the foes our "worst heroes ever" fight look magically demonic in origin - it's safe to assume that there'll be a showdown with her in the finale, bringing her right into conflict with her love interest. And that can only go one of two ways for ol' Rick. That said, he has a fair chance of survival - he's one of the leads, after all. Tom Hardy was also meant to fill his shoes at one point, and Warner Bros would have had it in mind to keep Hardy around for future instalments. You don't recruit the best talent around to be one of your main heroes to have them be all 'one-and-done'. Now that it's Joel Kinnaman, though, they might be more pre-disposed to be rid of him for an emotional death in the film's climax...
