Suicide Squad: Ranking All 11 Characters Revealed So Far

While it's almost entirely unrecognisable as the same character from early comics appearances, that's not necessarily a bad thing, considering how terrible that version of the character looked.

Apparently, there will be visual call-backs to the comic book Boomerang, like his wearing a beanie hat, but it has to be said that the further they stay from the whole printed boomerangs fiasco, the better. It's just a shame they haven't teased him having his weapon of choice mounted on his torso.

Props to Jai Courtney for putting on a lot of muscle mass too. He's turned what could have been the campest of all the characters into a Bane like monster. Who presumably had to get built like that to stop people for questioning how someone called Captain Boomerang could justifiable sit shoulder to shoulder with a bloody great crocodile.
