Suicide Squad: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
3. Amanda Waller
She's not on screen enough, mostly thanks to the breathless editing and the imbalance between the whole squad, but it's hard not to admire Viola Davis' performance as the nefarious Task Force X leader.
From the moment she appears (let's ignore the horribly blatant meat munching, shall we?), her evil rings with authenticity and it's very clear that she operates on an entirely different moral plane to the rest of the cast.
It's great to see that even when she's captured she's uncompromising, even if it's utterly illogical that she survives. And she's clearly utterly unflappable, even when the world is falling down around her, choosing even to throw snide barbs at Batman as he's leaving.
Plus when she turns on her own team and shoots them all because "they didn't have clearance", you get to see exactly how deep her cold heart goes.
