Suicide Squad: Ranking The Characters By Anticipation
4. Killer Croc
Played By: Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. Who's Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje? He's appeared in movies like The Mummy Returns, The Bourne Identity, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Thor: The Dark World, and alongside his Squad co-star Will Smith in the currently-playing Concussion, but many will undoubtedly always remember him through his roles as Adebisi on HBO's Oz and Mr. Eko in the second and third seasons of Lost. Much has already been said about Killer Croc's physical appearance in the film, ranging from positive comments to those lamenting that he looks like a cross between The Amazing Spider-Man's snoutless version of the Lizard and a Goomba from the live-action Super Mario Bros. film. Whatever one's feelings may be about his appearance, it's no secret that his comic counterpart has ranged in looks from man-like to outright monstrous over the years, with various interpretations treating his character as everything from a troubled monster born from terrible circumstances to a serial killer who loves being evil. This will be Killer Croc's first live-action adaptation, and we know that - on the surface, at least - Agbaje will be portraying him as an angry cannibal. Using his famous roles as Adebisi and Mr. Eko as reference points, Agbaje has proven that he can truly command every scene he's in, whether he's going full-on, terrifying nuts (like the former character) or revealing the heart of gold under it all (as with the latter). Croc is unlike any other character in the Squad, and hopefully Agbaje will have far more to work with than he had with his role as Algrim/Kurse in The Dark World to shape the character into something more than just a simple monster.
