7. Katana

Played By: Karen Fukuhara. Who's Karen Fukuhara? A young actress whose first major role is in this film, so should her turn as Katana prove popular, her career is undoubtedly going to open wide in its wake. Katana fans got their first major live-action take on the character during Arrow's third season, but Suicide Squad's version of the character looks to be adhering more closely to comics lore than the show's. Armed with the Soultaker blade and part of the team by her own volition as Flag's bodyguard, the powerful martial artist is essentially a wildcard in terms of how she deals with her criminal comrades and how she keeps them from doing anything to Flag. It's hard to gauge what Fukuhara is bringing to the table considering the fact that this is going to be her first notable role, but at least her personal background as a martial artist goes hand-in-hand with the character. Regardless, if Katana's fundamental character is handled right and her inherent physicality and power is done justice, she could very easily be one of the film's best scene-stealers.
