Super Bowl 2019: Ranking Every Trailer From Worst To Best

10. Hobbs & Shaw

Twilight Zone Jordan Peele
Universal

Let's get one thing straight right out of the gate: the full-length trailer released for Hobbs & Shaw this past Friday was absolutely bonkers in the best possible way. In lovingly embracing the increasing lunacy of the Fast & Furious franchise while also perfectly utilizing the charisma and star-power of its two leads, the film looks to be one of the most insanely enjoyable blockbusters of the year.

However, this was not the trailer shown during the Super Bowl. Instead, viewers got an ad that was essentially a streamlined version of that same trailer, missing several of the best beats and showing no new footage at all. That's all perfectly fine, it's just that it doesn't exactly make for the most effective use of a Super Bowl spot.

It served its purpose insofar as reminding audiences that the film exists, is coming this summer, and that the full trailer is online, but accomplished little else.
