Why He Could: Website Cosmic Book News ran with the scoop from their "DC Entertainment source" this morning that actor Tyler Hoechlin (Teen Wolf, 7th Heaven, Road to Perdition) is in heavy consideration for the Batman role, and will be screen testing alongside Henry Cavill in the near future. Apparently, Snyder and Warner are looking for an actor similar to Cavill, who is on the rise though is also very young.
Why He Won't: Seriously, who the Hell is this guy? Until his name popped up online today, I'd never heard of him, whereas Henry Cavill had at least a slightly more pronounced presence than this before garnering the Superman role, having starred in several films and dozens of episodes of The Tudors.
