Let's start with the mother of all questions: Will there even be a sequel to Terminator: Dark Fate? That, of course, will depend upon if its financially successful or not, but the fact of the matter is that it certainly sets up a sequel. In fact, it sets up a trilogy according to James Cameron.

The film was written in a rather interesting way as it can serve as both the conclusion to the original Terminator saga and the first in a brand new one. John Connor, the T-800, Grace and the Rev-9 may all be dead, but a dark future still awaits planet earth, and its up to Sarah Connor and the new saviour of mankind Dani Ramos to stop it from ever happening.

There's scope for a sequel, but there's also closure at the same time. Sarah Connor spent 20 years mourning her son while exacting revenge on the last remaining Terminators in existence, now she's got a new purpose in life - to protect mankind's new saviour. Given all that's happened to her, that's just about as happy of an ending as we could hope for for her.

The Terminator movies say there is no fate but what we make, and that's rather appropriate given the circumstances, because there is no Dark Fate II if it doesn't make enough money.

But let's stay there is a sequel, here are some of things we should be asking...
