15. Genisys' Name Is A Clue To John's True Nature

The original subtitle for the fifth Terminator was Genesis, a rather obvious sign is was going to be a restart of the franchise. The respelling to Genisys confused a lot of people, but was generally assumed to be to work it into the plot (which it was), with the "Sys" standing for system. However, it also serves as a bit of light foreshadowing to John's Terminatorisation - he is a mixture of genetics and system, just like the word.
