Marvel ComicsIn most cases, ruthlessness is not something that one would class as an ability. In Thanos' case, such is the scale of his ruthlessness that you actually have to call it one. No normal intelligent being could ever be capable of such nonchalance in the event that universal level catastrophes were being caused by them, but Thanos is far from normal. In the Infinity Gauntlet storyline, for example, when Thanos was wielding the titular item and, subsequently, the power of a god, the Mad Titan casually clicked his fingers to wipe out half of the sentient life in the entire universe. He didn't think twice about doing it and he didn't bat an eyelid after he had done it. This is just one of the many ruthless acts that Thanos has carried out - albeit the worst - and he will never think twice about murdering anyone who gets in his way. The Avengers have never encountered anyone quite so unforgiving and they will need to be extremely careful not to fall foul of his passive aggression.
