7. A Genius Level Intellect
Marvel ComicsThanos is a bona fide genius. There's really no other way to describe his vast intellectual levels. He's essentially beyond even the likes of Doctor Doom and Reed Richards when it comes to his intelligence - and when you combine that with the level of power that he brings to the table by default, he's an exceptionally dangerous villain to deal with. That's right, there's definitely more to Thanos than just brawn. Indeed, the very technology that Thanos uses to augment his own powers was created by the character himself. Although Thanos does have augmentation from the likes of Lady Death and some magical means, the majority of what Thanos can do stems from the fact that he made it so. He is often seen travelling around in his space transportation chair - an item of his own creation that enables travel through space, force field projection, teleportation, time travel and movement through alternate universes. He's certainly not a one-layered villain - he is definitely a threat on a multitude of levels and if Tony Stark he thinks he's clever, having created an element and having made a number of super-powered suits, he's going to be made to feel very humble going up against the Mad Titan in a battle of the minds.
