The 10 Best Summer Blockbuster Films Of 2013

8. Fast And Furious 6

Fast & Furious 6 Fast and the Furious may be the only film franchise in existence that ages with quality while simultaneously having the guts to shift everything it is. Fast Five wasn€™t about street racing or melodramatic family dilemmas but rather a badass bank heist featuring a chase scene with a bank vault attached to a truck. The scene was completely dumbfounding and ludicrously stupid but an uproarious blast to watch. Fast Six kept that tonal shift intact (although it unfortunately brought back some of the cringeworthy family drama) and delivered more jaw-droppingly implausible action sequences like the crew in cars shooting harpoons at a plane and successfully bringing it down. The cameo at the end of the film rocked the house and set forth in motion what should be another action packed romp of machismo and stupid fun.
